Yes. Dozy is free to download and use, with no in-app purchases required for the core sleep sounds. The free version is supported by small, non-intrusive ads outside of bedtime playback — there is no paywall around sleep itself.
Does Dozy work without an internet connection?
All sleep sounds are bundled with the app, so playback works on planes, in hotels and anywhere Wi-Fi can't reach. The free version's ads do need an occasional connection to load — but they never interrupt a running sleep timer.
Is white noise safe for babies?
Pediatric guidance generally suggests keeping white noise around 50 dB and placing the speaker at least one to two metres from a baby's crib. Dozy lets you adjust volume freely and includes a gentle fade-out at the end of every timer.

Does Dozy collect any personal data?
No. Dozy doesn't require an account, doesn't ship third-party analytics, and never sends sound or timer data back to us. Free-tier ads are served by an Apple-friendly ad network with no behavioural tracking enabled.
Will the sounds keep playing if I lock my phone?
Yes. Dozy uses iOS background audio, so playback continues with the screen off, in another app, or even during a phone call.
